On February 8, VII Moscow International Salon of Innovations and Investments – the biggest annual event having an enormous importance for Russian innovative potential successful integration to the world scientific community – finished its work. Around 600 exhibitors from 26 Russian Federation regions and 19 countries of Europe, South-East Asia, Scandinavia , America have been represented at the Salon.

Salon Program Events and Exposition facilitated solving objectives of attracting investments to the scientific and technical sphere, as well as technical re-equipment of production , development of intellectual property objects market, patent and licensing activity improvement, pooling of interests of highly technological production inventors, creators and manufacturers and those of representatives of industrial and financial business from Russia regions, CIS participant countries and non-CIS countries.

Salon Exposition was comprised by specialized and multi-industry sections . Thus, “Innovation Projects and Elaborations” Section introduced the surveys results and elaborations in priority directions of science and technique development determined by the Federal Target Scientific and Technical Program for 2002-2006. Exposition by the Russian Academy of Science and branches thereof was represented by outcomes of fundamental and applied research of 40 institutes.

Multi-Industry Expositions demonstrated the innovation potential of Russia regions, scientific and technical potential of organizations and enterprises in the Russia scientific and technical sphere, as well as of Russian partners from Byelorussia , Kazakhstan , Ukraine , Kirghizia .

“National Expositions” Sector was participated by foreign scientific and research organization and individual creator from non-CIS countries. The exposition composition included representatives of Hungary , Belgium , France , Germany , Israel , Iran , Malaysia and other countries. The international delegations composition at the Salon was participated by the President of International Federation of Inventors Associations Andras Vedres , European Parliament Advisor Norber de Scheizen , President of National Inventors Association, President of Israeli Research Center Oleg Phigovsky , Head of “Club France” Association Marina Moro , Attache of Department for Science and Technologies under the Embassy of France in the RF Liz Breille , Head of TACIS Project Gerard Philipp Bonneve , Director of European Marketing and Management Center Liudmila Hans , President of Korean Association for Investments Promotion Bak Sang-Won and other eminent guests.
